For almost 45 years, the art-loving public of Ciuc and Transylvania has been paying tribute to the Master of painting in Jigodin, in the gallery built in his honour.

This year is even more special: 125 years have passed since the birth of Imre Nagy from Jigodin - as he was called as a child, Emre.

His personality and his artistic achievements oblige us to pay tribute to the creator of this oeuvre, which has been realised over the past century and a quarter.

A large number of drawings and sketches will be exhibited alongside the Master's completed works, which show his creative work in stages. Works that reveal the inner impulses of his creative spirit.
