The Fine Art Collection of the Szekler National Museum

The 140-year-old Szekler National Museum has a collection of 3000 pieces, most of which were donated to the institution, but recently the collection has been consciously acquired. The best of the collection, a basic exhibition of around 80 works, was on display last year at the Vigadó in Budapest. The exhibition, of cultural and historical importance, was a representative presentation of the outstanding works of art of our community.

The audience can see works by such important artists as Jenő Gyárfás, Sándor Ziffer, János Mattis-Teutsch, Jenő Szervátiusz, Imre Baász, Sándor Plugor, Péter Jecza, Jenő Korondi.
