After a short summer break, we are waiting for you again with a series of exhibitions in the gallery of the Szekler Museum of Ciuc, Kossuth Street. The photographer from Tomești is interested in his immediate surroundings and in capturing them through photography. His favourite subject is man, as his current exhibition testifies.
On 22 September, an exhibition of photographs by Alpár Teutsch, who turns 50 this year, opened.
"The idea for the exhibition came from my 50th birthday. We celebrated it with family at the end of February and with friends in mid-July. This time I would like to celebrate with photography lovers. I started taking photographs nine years ago. First I started documenting my own village, then I started collecting images from other regions. Most of my pictures are of people. I like to capture their faces, their daily lives and their traditions that are dying out. I welcome all visitors to my exhibition, where they can see more of my images and hear about nine years of photography." - Alpár Teutsch
