Photo exhibition of the Exposia group
The images in the photo exhibition, although they are the work of several artists, are best described by the title: close to people. The main character of each frame is a human being, but they are also situational, portrait, socio-photographic, and thus seen through the specific possibilities of several genres.
The photographers' terrain is mostly Odorheiu Secuiesc, a region diverse in its way of life, from traditional crafts to the latest technical innovations, everything can be seen almost side by side in a single settlement. It is the same with people: blacksmiths at work, women spinning and weaving, shepherds, and many portraits: dirty little boys, prophet-like old faces, joyful reminiscences, moments of rest, joy or even prayer.
The moments of work, rest and respite were as important to capture as the special occasions that the camera rarely has the chance to capture: the grimacing child, the pensive or grieving adult.
For this reason, the face is never neutral. It reveals or even tries to conceal emotions and moods. There is happiness, excitement, or even a stillness, a sadness of remembrance that chills the air.
The camera gets close to the face, and we, the viewers, get closer to a situation or a fate. This is the admitted aim of the exhibitors: to see a different person, a face that changes almost from minute to minute, and the fates that go with it.

EXPOSIA ART GROUP
The group, which was started in May 2009 in Odorheiu Secuiesc, is the only group in the Szeklerland photographic scene that includes several artists from Hungary and currently has 16 members.
Creating is usually an individual occupation in photography, but they have expanded it into a community activity. The main aim of Exposia is to take photographs together, to involve each other and to learn about each other's vision, methods and techniques. And freedom of creation is what they value above all else. What they have in common, despite their geographical distance, is that they share the same desire to know.
Over the years, Exposia members have participated in numerous photo camps, and their images have been successfully entered in national and international competitions.
