What's hidden in the Pogányvár in Racu? A border defence fortress from the time of St. László, a private landowner's castle, a Szekler communal castle? What connects an Iron Age Dacian castle with a medieval castle in Szeklerland? This and much more will be discussed in the first episode of the Castle Hours, a series of educational lectures of the Szekler Museum of Ciuc.

We are planning to hold lectures on a variety of topics on the third Wednesday of every month, starting at 18:00.

On 18 January, from 18:00 in the protocol room of the Mikó Castle, archaeologist Dr. István Botár will give the first lecture in Hungarian, entitled Hidden Pogányvár, to which all interested visitors are welcome.
