Who started the museum movement in Ciuc and what did they want to create? What was achieved then and what remains of it today? What memories do we have of all this? What were the secrets of museum-making then and what are they today? All these questions will be answered with old photos, memories and cheerful storytelling at the latest event of the Castle Hours.
On the third Wednesday of each month, starting at 6pm, we hold lectures on a variety of topics, and PARTICIPATION IS FREE.
On 15 February, from 18:00 in the protocol room of the Mikó Castle, ethnographer and museologist Levente Málnási will give the second lecture in the series, in Hungarian, entitled The Szekler Museum of Ciuc: past and present.
